Deleting a Paste

A paste can only be deleted by the user who created it. Once a paste is deleted, it cannot be recovered. It may take up to 1hr for our cache to update, so it may be visiable in some places for a short period of time.

Where to Find the Delete Button

• For account holders: From your account page, access via the navigation bar. select ‘manage’ on the paste you wish to delete. Then head to the bottom of the manage page where you will find the delete button.

• For non-account holders: Keep a note of the manage link generated when you created a paste. You can access the manage page via this link and delete the paste from there.

Note: If you have not saved the manage link, you may still be able to delete your paste. Using the same device and browser you created the paste on, create an account. This will link all your created pastes to your account, allowing you to delete them.

Can I Recover a Deleted Paste?

No, once a paste is deleted, it cannot be recovered. Make sure you want to delete it before proceeding.

How Long Does It Take for a Paste to Be Deleted?

Once you confirm the deletion, the paste will be removed from our servers. However, it may take up to 1hr for our cache to update, so it may still be visible in some places for a short period of time.

Can I Delete Someone Else’s Paste?

No, you can only delete pastes that you have created. If you need a paste removed that you did not create, due to sensitive content or other reasons, please use the ‘report abuse’ button on the paste page or visit one of the following links to report the paste:
