Profile and preferences

Open Dashboard → Settings to update your account and profile.

Profile photo and bio

Open Profile to:

upload or remove a profile photo
write or update your bio
change the email address on your account

Your bio can use Markdown formatting. Confirm a changed email address from the message sent to the new address.

Themes

From Profile, you can choose:

a default theme for new pastes
a theme for your public profile
a theme for AnonPaste while you are signed in

Notifications

Use Account settings to choose whether AnonPaste sends email notifications for messages and comments. You can also manage browser notifications from the Messages area.

Privacy and creation defaults

Use Account settings to:

hide your country flag from public content
make new pastes owner-only by default
choose whether AI inline writing suggestions are available

Owner-only pastes can only be opened while you are signed in as their owner until you change sharing for that paste.

Country flags

Country flags provide cultural context for public content and help make public sharing more transparent. They are optional, and do not show a full location.

To hide your flag, turn on Hide my country flag from public content in Account settings and save. See Country flags for anonymous-use instructions and more detail.

Your data and account

The bottom of the Profile settings page links to Request data and Delete account.
