File uploads and AnonDrop
AnonPaste has two file-sharing workflows:
- File paste — you choose files and share them with other people.
- AnonDrop — you create a request page and other people send files privately to you.
An account is required to add files on AnonPaste.
Create a file paste
Section titled “Create a file paste”- Open Upload files.
- Drag files into the upload area or choose them from your device.
- Add a title or description where useful.
- Choose the paste’s privacy, expiry, and download settings.
- Create the paste and copy the share link.
You can also add file blocks while building a mixed-content paste.
Previews and file details
Section titled “Previews and file details”AnonPaste can show previews for common images, video, audio, and PDF files. Other file types appear as downloads. You can:
- give a file a clearer name, title, or description
- choose a main or secondary thumbnail
- turn downloads off for the paste
- add extra access checks to individual files when your plan supports them
The available file size, file count, storage, and transfer allowances depend on the paste type and your plan. The upload screen shows the limit that applies before you submit. See the pricing page for current plan limits.
