Editing a Paste

To edit a paste, you need either the manage link shown when you created it or the account that owns it.

Encrypted pastes cannot be edited after creation. Create a new paste and share its new link when encrypted content needs to change.

Edit from your account

1. Open your account from the navigation bar.
2. Find the paste and choose Manage.
3. Change the supported content or settings and save.

Edit without an account

When you create a paste without logging in, AnonPaste gives you a manage link. Keep that link safe — it is the only way to edit or delete the paste later.

1. Open the manage link you saved after creation.
2. Edit the supported content or settings and save.

Some settings become fixed after people start responding to a poll, Tier List, slider, counter, or other interactive block. This protects existing results.

If you lose the manage link, the paste cannot be recovered for editing unless it belongs to your account.
