Dynamic routing rules (Pro)

Dynamic routing lets one short link send visitors to different destination URLs depending on who they are and how they connect. Rules are evaluated in order; the first match wins.

Pro or Max required. Free accounts cannot save routing rules.

When to use routing

• Country-specific landing pages (EU vs US store)
• Block or redirect VPN/Tor users to a warning page
• Mobile vs desktop app store links
• A/B style paths without creating multiple short links

Setting up rules

1. Create or edit a link at anonpaste.com/links.

2. Open Dynamic routing (Pro section).

3. Add one or more rules. Each rule has:

   • Conditions — Match country, VPN, Tor, browser, device type, or OS
   • Destination URL — Where matching visitors go
   • Optional gate — Require captcha or age confirmation before redirect

4. Save the link.

If no rule matches, visitors use the link’s default destination URL.

Condition types

Rules can combine conditions (all must match for that rule to apply). Examples:

Condition	Example use
Country	US → US storefront, DE → German page
VPN / Tor	Send anonymized networks to an info or block page
Browser	Chrome vs Safari download pages
Device	mobile vs desktop
OS	iOS vs Android app links

Gates on a rule

A matched rule can require:

• Captcha before continuing
• Age confirmation (18+)

The visitor completes the gate on the AnonPaste link page, then proceeds to that rule’s destination.

Redirect mode still applies

Direct and interstitial modes work together with routing. Interstitial shows the AnonPaste confirmation page before continuing; direct goes straight to the matched destination when allowed.

Limits and tips

• Keep destinations on http:// or https:// only.
• Put the most specific rules first, broader fallbacks last.
• Test from different networks (mobile data vs VPN) after publishing.
