AnonPaste Discord Bot

The AnonPaste Discord app creates shareable pastes from server channels, the app’s DM, 1:1 DMs, and group DMs. Replies are private to you, so you choose where to share the resulting link.

Use /quick when you want to share text or code without connecting an account. It creates an unlisted Lite paste that expires after seven days. Anyone who receives its link can open it.

Use /paste when you want the paste saved to your AnonPaste account or need to attach files. It creates a private, unencrypted paste and uses your account’s paste and storage quota.

Use /shorten to create an account-owned pathto.link short link. Like /paste, it requires your Discord account to be connected to AnonPaste.

Full pastes require the Discord account you are using to be connected to AnonPaste:

  1. Sign in to AnonPaste.
  2. Open Connected accounts.
  3. Connect Discord and approve the Discord authorization screen.
  4. Return to Discord and run /paste.

Quick pastes and message copying do not require an account connection.

Creates an account-free text, Markdown, or code Lite paste. You can add an optional title and code language.

Quick pastes:

  • expire after seven days
  • do not appear in an AnonPaste account
  • can be opened by anyone who receives the link

Creates a paste owned by your connected AnonPaste account. Add text, files, or both.

Discord attachment limits are:

  • up to 3 files
  • up to 10 MB for each file
  • up to 25 MB combined

Your account may have a lower file, paste, or storage limit. If an attachment cannot be uploaded, the incomplete paste is removed instead of leaving a partial paste in your account.

Shortens a website address using a generated pathto.link link. The link belongs to your connected AnonPaste account, appears with your other short links, and redirects directly to its destination.

Right-click or long-press a message, choose Apps, then Copy to AnonPaste. The message text is copied to a seven-day Quick paste.

Attachments, embeds, and stickers are not copied. A message with no text cannot be copied.

Copies recent text messages into a Quick paste. Author display names are included, but Discord account IDs are not.

This works in:

  • server channels where the guild-installed bot has View Channel and Read Message History
  • the bot’s DM when Discord exposes the message history

Discord does not give a user-installed app bulk history access in every 1:1 or group DM. If the command says history is unavailable, use Copy to AnonPaste on individual messages.

Previews accessible text and attachment details from a full paste when it is safe to do so. Images and video posters can appear in the preview, and attachment links are included when downloads are enabled. Password, payment, owner-only, geographic, moderation, and other access rules are not bypassed. Open the provided AnonPaste link to complete any required access step.

Previews a Quick/Lite paste when it is safe to do so. Password-protected and burn-after-view Quick pastes are not shown inside Discord; open their AnonPaste link instead.

Shows a short command summary and links back to this guide and Connected accounts.

The Discord app supports:

  • Guild Install for server channels
  • User Install for the app’s DM, 1:1 DMs, group DMs, and supported server contexts

Server installations need View Channel, Send Messages, Embed Links, and Read Message History for bulk message copying. /quick, /paste, /shorten, /view, /view-quick, /help, and the selected-message action do not depend on bulk message-history access.

Only copy messages you are allowed to share. AnonPaste receives the copied text or selected files to create the paste. Discord replies are private, but the paste link itself can be shared, and anyone with a Quick paste link can open it.

Full pastes are managed from your AnonPaste dashboard. The bot never posts a paste management token into Discord.
